Rapid Growth for SSI

Sample provider Survey Sampling International LLC (SSI) has announced rapid sales growth for Q1 2004 and has appointed Steve Flanagan Vice President for Global Development.

The first quarter of 2004 saw sales 47% up on the same period in 2003, with March sales setting a new company record. eSample accounts for much of this growth, 'though not all - eSample sales were 60% of total sales, up from 50% for Q1 2003. Global telephone sales increased 20% and 46 new accounts were opened. The company also released B2B targeting on the SurveySpot Internet panel.

Flanagan, who will focus on the visibility of SurveySpot and recruitment to the panel, worked as an account executive for SSI early in his career, but has been away for 20 years. His management, marketing and sales experience span Fortune 100 and start-up companies including Clear Channel, CMGI, CBS Sportsline, Time Warner, CardMember Publishing and Actmedia.

According to Terry Coen, vice president of Sales and Marketing, 'It's clear to me that Steve was born to develop business, and we are extremely pleased to have him as part of our organization'.
