TBWA Hires Intelligence and Data Product Leaders

In New York, ad agency TBWA has hired Alyson Stevens as Global Head of Connected Intelligence and Michael Horn as Global Head of Data Product, both newly created roles.

Omnicom-owned TBWA employs 11,300 staff across 275 offices in 95 countries. Stevens joins from Publicis Media, where she served as SVP and Director, Insight & Analytics, with a focus on understanding emerging consumer behavior. Prior to this she spent sixteen years in different roles at Starcom MediaVest Group, including SVP, Global Director, Human Experience Strategy, having begun her career as a media planner at Leo Burnett.

Horn joins from digital experience and product strategy firm Huge, where he served as Chief Data Officer, leading the data strategy, analytics, research and personalization practice, and a team of more than 50 analysts and researchers. Before this he served as SVP, Chief Analytics Officer at Resonate, directing a team of analysts and researchers, and he worked at UM, creating the agency's Decision Sciences practice, and at R\GA and OMD. He started his career at NPR as a user experience analyst.

In their new roles, Stevens is tasked with expanding TBWA's Intelligence and Knowledge practices and working with external data suppliers - as well as partners like Gartner and Forrester - to develop new and proprietary methodologies; while Horn will use data and technology to drive the group's creative product and client business growth and further develop its data services and products. Both report to Chief Strategy Officer Agathe Guerrier, who comments: 'Alyson and Michael's mission will be to orchestrate a practice of intelligence and data grounded in disruption: designed to understand change, not current states; and to imagine what could be, not just what is, ultimately propelling our clients towards a greater share of the future'.
