GlobaLexicon Revenue up 45% in First Half

MR and healthcare-focused translation & language services company GlobaLexicon has increased its headcount to 120, while growing its revenue 45% in the first half of the year. The firm has also doubled the capacity of its Translation Operations Centre in Spain.

Daniela ToledoThe Spanish operation - which includes specialist in-house linguists, quality assurance professionals, sector specialists, translation project managers and relationship managers - has completed a move into new purpose-built offices with capacity for more than 60 team members.

MD Daniela Toledo (pictured) says the firm's system of support via central hubs of specialists has been appreciated by clients, and allows it to build additional scale across the project lifecycle. She adds: 'We continue to see positive client demand and our winning approach to high quality and service, paired with the specialist sector knowledge of our teams, resonates extremely well with clients'.

The result beats an already impressive performance from H1 2020 in which GlobaLexicon added 30% to revenue. The company, which says it plans to announce additional geographic expansion shortly, is online at www.globalexicon.com .
