HFS Hires Leader for New Sourcing Advisory Practice

Technology and services analyst HFS Research has launched a Sourcing Advisory practice and appointed long-time TPI exec Steve Koutros to lead it. He is based in the Netherlands.

Steve KoutrosHFS aims to provide 'visionary insight into the major innovations impacting business operations' including automation, AI, blockchain, IoT, digital business models and smart analytics; basing its work on demand side data and engagements with industry practitioners. Its new division offers a suite of research-based advisory solutions, based on global data and expertise, and it aims to act as a sounding board for its enterprise clients to provide perspectives throughout the sourcing process.

Koutros (pictured) joins after founding BPO/ITO outsourcing specialist Emperia, prior to which, he worked for coatings manufacturer AkzoNobel, managing the firm's Outsourcing Services team. Earlier, he spent nearly seven years at Information Services Group's outsourcing consultancy TPI, where he was a Partner and Director of CFO and HR Services. He also worked for Capgemini for six years, running an Energy Consulting practice, a nationwide ERP Solutions practice for global rollouts, and a Global Procurement practice.
