September 29 2021

In the US, pharma commercial intelligence provider MMIT/Evaluate has acquired healthcare data analytics firm Panalgo (formerly Boston Health Economics - BHE) for an undisclosed sum.

Jordan Menzin and Joseph MenzinPanalgo, which also has an office in Amsterdam, offers its Instant Health Data (IHD) software to enable biopharmaceutical, medical device and contract research organizations' teams to generate and share results. The firm also focuses on early and late-stage model development, providing tools for understanding pricing opportunities, as well as burden of illness analyses to evaluate the clinical, economic, and humanistic impact of disease.

While continuing to operate under its brand, the firm now joins MMIT/Evaluate, which was recently formed through the merger of Managed Markets Insight & Technology (MMIT) and Evaluate. According to the business, the acquisition will result in a 'market-leading analytics platform' that provides on-demand insights across dozens of normalized real-world evidence and market access data sets. From November 1, 2021, Panalgo CTO Jordan Menzin will become CEO of Panalgo, while the firm's founder and CEO Joseph Menzin will move to the role of Executive Chairman.

MMIT CEO Mike Gallup comments: 'MMIT/Evaluate and Panalgo share a vision of generating evidence and insights faster, all to help patients get timely access to lifesaving therapies. The addition of Panalgo fits perfectly into our strategy of building a best-in-breed technology- and services-driven healthcare business servicing pharma, biotech and beyond.'
