New Features for UserTesting

October 18 2021

Customer insights platform UserTesting has announced new features aimed at giving users 'a deeper understanding of diverse customer perspectives'. They include matching behavioral patterns with common pre-identified types, plus customization and preview options.

Kaj van de LooUserTesting's 'Human Insight Platform' allows organizations to see and hear users' experiences of products and brands first-hand; as well as their reaction to concepts. Feedback from opted-in, targeted groups is used to generate video-based Customer Experience Narratives (CxN), typically in less than a day, and often within a few hours.

The new instant insight uses machine learning models to automatically surface patterns, trends and anomalies for tasked-based questions, simultaneously assessing across behavioral metrics, intent and sentiment data. The path filter features enables users to quickly focus on specific behavior using a powerful search capability that hones in on results for web pages, intent and sentiment; and a newly enhanced intent path function detects more than 100 of the most common behaviour types based on how contributors interact with web-based experiences.

Other new features include the ability to build-your-own test invitations - customizing and branding the test experience - and a preview for mobile giving full visibility into the test experience from the contributor perspective.

CTO Kaj van de Loo (pictured) comments: 'We are constantly striving to make it easier for companies to incorporate human insight across all of the experiences they deliver. Each and every one of these innovations has been designed to enable companies to gain insights into their customers' perspectives with greater clarity and efficiency'.

UserTesting is headquartered in San Francisco, California and is online at www.usertesting.com .
