Apparel Size Advisor True Fit Gets Funds for CX Platform

December 8 2021

In the US, apparel market consumer experience (CX) platform True Fit has raised $30m in funding, which it will use for business expansion, and to drive product innovation.

William AdlerTrue Fit is used by clothing and footwear retailers to connect shoppers with the correct size and fit for their preferred items, without consumers needing to use a measuring tape. The firm's proprietary 'universal size scale' serves 'fit guidance' to online traffic, and backs this up with product-based data to enable shoppers to understand how other buyers sized up, down, or bought their usual size. The company's AI-driven data platform then delivers footwear, apparel and consumer data to retailers, so they can use shopper demographics, price and brand preferences to deliver personalized recommendations to those shoppers buying online.

New funding has been led by the firm's lead investor, fintech company Georgian, with participation from Jump Capital, Signal Peak Ventures, Intel Capital, and new investor venture debt fund Espresso. William Adler (pictured), True Fit's President & CEO, commented: 'Consumers are in the midst of a generational shift to digital shopping. Apparel brands and retailers are rapidly partnering with True Fit to make their customer experience excellent. We're thrilled to help unlock growth in apparel - the last huge consumer category to go digital.'
