M.E.L Research Expands Quant and Ops Teams

In the UK, social research and behaviour change specialist M.E.L Research has appointed former GfK exec Kirsty Marshall as an Associate Director in it Quantitative team, while Michael Deeming joins from BMG as Assistant Data Services Manager in the Operation team.

Kirsty MarshallM.E.L measures citizen views and opinions, and evaluates them to understand how well a client, project or service is performing. The firm offers a full range of research methods, quant and qual, and donates 5% of its net profits to charity. A sister company, M.E.L Waste Insights, focuses on analysis and advice around municipal waste and resources.

Marshall (pictured) joins after thirteen years at GfK, where she latterly served as AD and UK Lead for Marketing Effectiveness. Earlier, she worked for MESH, Spa Future Thinking and Hall & Partners, where she began her career. Deeming previously spent nearly two decades at Birmingham-based BMG Research, most recently in a management role in the Data Services Team.
