UserTesting Expands Instant Insights Post-Test Tool

Video-based insights provider UserTesting has added advanced features to its Instant Insights post-test analysis solution, promising to further speed up the process of uncovering key customer perspectives.

UserTesting's 'Human Insight Platform' allows organizations to see and hear users' experiences of products and brands first-hand, as well as their reaction to concepts. Feedback from opted-in, targeted groups is used to generate video-based 'Customer Experience Narratives' (CxN), typically in less than a day, and often within a few hours. In addition to English and German, UserTesting is now available in French, and customers can test in the French language with access to French speaking contributors.

The firm's test-level Instant Insight feature uses data-driven automation and machine learning models to accelerate post-test analysis, automatically detecting patterns, anomalies and key insights within customer data across multiple tasks and sessions. Customers can use it to quickly identify takeaways from their tests, rather than waiting for lengthy post-test analysis. In addition, the company says its navigation redesign enables customers to access core functionalities more easily, with a new user interface, folder management, and a workspace switcher.

UserTesting has also enhanced its core platform's card sorting capabilities, so users can view video feedback alongside card sorting metrics, and gain an understanding of contributors' mental models.
