Yoyi Tech Buys Data Platform, Raises New Funds

August 30 2022

In China, omnichannel marketing platform Yoyi Tech has acquired customer data and marketing automation platform LinkFlow for an undisclosed sum. Separately, Yoyi Tech has raised $20m in a Series D round of funding, which it will use to increase investment in R&D.

Zhou WenbiaoShanghai-based LinkFlow builds enterprise-level customer operation platforms which collect and store clients' user data and push it to a variety of internal and external systems, such as CRM and business information systems. Following the acquisition, LinkFlow will become a subsidiary of Yoyi Tech Group, while operating independently under its existing brand name.

Both firms will work together across big data, AI and product innovation, and to further develop understanding of customer lifetime value across the consumer journey. The deal adds to Yoyi Tech's offer of a smart ad platform called OneDesk; and marketing cloud, EngageX Marketing Automation Platform.

The new funding round was led by Samsung Venture Investment (SVIC), NewQuest Capital under TPG, and the Zhejiang SilkRoad Fund.

Yoyi Tech, which is led by Google AsiaPac's former Head of Adsense Zhou Wenbiao (pictured), is online at www.yoyi.com.cn , while Linkflow is on the web at www.linkflowtech.com .
