Product Researcher Curion Acquired by Investment Firm

In the US, sensory evaluation and full-service qual and quant consumer product research firm Curion has been acquired by private investment firm Summit Park, for an undisclosed sum.

Formed by the merger of Q Research Solutions and Tragon Corp., the Chicago, IL-based company also has a sensory products insights platform called eFive; a product and packaging optimizer, S2P; and a real life product testing capability, Life Labs. In addition, the firm operates testing facilities in San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston, New York and Dallas.

Commenting on the acquisition, Curion CEO Sean Bisceglia (pictured) says: 'Summit Park's depth of experience, leadership, and overall historical success were a perfect fit to achieve Curion's goals and grow our platform to a world-class leader in consumer product insights. I look forward to the next chapter of industry disruption partnering with the Summit Park team'.
