Swiss Post Buys Financial Sector CX Specialist Unblu

Unblu, which provides financial services companies with conversational software to improve digital customer experiences, has been acquired by Swiss Post, Switzerland's national postal service. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Luc HaldimannBasel-headquartered Unblu, which also has operations in Germany, Bulgaria, the UK, the US, and Canada, focusses on enabling international financial institutions to provide 'better' customer experiences across digital channels. The firm's customer engagement platform provides access to artificial intelligence, messaging, video communications, and document sharing, enabling real-time collaboration while also allowing companies to exchange information securely with their customers.

Additionally, Unblu's platform helps clients personalize their consumer pricing and product offerings, while transforming the customer journey. With AI and machine learning, the platform continuously learns and updates predictions based on individual behaviour and recent life events, providing 'more personalized and relevant advice'.

As part of the deal, Unblu will become an independent subsidiary of Swiss Post, while continuing to operate as an autonomous company.
