Reveal Mobile Boosts VISIT Local Ad Attribution

November 3 2022

Raleigh, NC-based location intelligence specialist Reveal Mobile has enhanced two of the attribution reports available in its geofencing platform VISIT Local, to enable marketers to estimate in-store sales and return on ad spend.

Andy SchraderVISIT Local provides companies with location data to understand, reach and measure the right audiences, and create and activate audiences based on the number of times a mobile device has visited a specific location. One of the enhanced reports ties social media ad campaigns to foot traffic at physical locations, and the other links digital display and other programmatic media formats to store visits. The latter includes programmatic ads that run on web sites, streaming entertainment platforms, and in mobile apps.

Metrics in the programmatic media reports include those relating to unique store visits, campaign lift, the number of ad exposures and advertising days needed to drive conversions, and estimated sales from conversions. The enhanced reports for social media ads include metrics such as campaign lift, new versus returning visits, and the percentage of social media conversions from a location's overall visits.

Chief Product Officer Andy Schrader (pictured) comments: 'Measuring the effectiveness of digital ads on foot traffic to physical locations tends to be complex, leaving marketers to decipher what really happened as a result of their paid media. The attribution reports we're making available bring clarity to the digital marketer's workday'.
