New Talkwalker Models Enhance Social Media Analysis

December 1 2022

Social media monitoring platform Talkwalker has added 'large language models' to the Blue Silk artificial intelligence engine at the core of its consumer intelligence platform.

David LowTalkwalker uses AI-powered technology to monitor and analyze online conversations in real time across social media networks, news web sites, blogs and forums, in 187 languages. The firm says its Blue Silk Insight app can 'concisely' capture the results of thousands of consumer reviews or surveys in a few sentences; while its 1-Click AI Classifier app enables marketers to draft short descriptions in natural language about the insights they want to categorize, and then instantly classify millions of unstructured social media conversation data sets.

The new language models promise marketers the ability to categorize millions of relevant social media conversations drawn from customer support e-mails, reviews, and customer satisfaction surveys. Trained on language data sets, the models can understand the relationships between words and phrases, and can be used to predict and generate new text, translate between languages, and perform other natural language processing tasks such as question answering, classification or summarization.

CMO David Low (pictured) comments: 'Data insights are invaluable, but in today's digital world, brands are flooded with so much data, they're struggling to efficiently and cost-effectively surface the key insights they need to take action. Talkwalker's pioneering innovations use cutting edge large language models, automation and AI to do the hard work behind the scenes so marketers can gain access to valuable insights more quickly and easily than ever before'.
