EX Firm LumApps Buys Chatbot Builder Vizir

Austin, TX-based employee experience platform provider LumApps has acquired French chatbot specialist Vizir, for an undisclosed amount.

Established in 2015, LumApps is an employee experience platform, built to tailor each experience to the individual needs of an employee, wherever and whenever they connect.

Vizir provides no-code digital assistants which simulate human dialogue, for use by staff in HR, IT and communications functions looking to automate routine tasks and improve employee access to knowledge, resources, and third-party applications. In addition to its Natural Language Understanding (NLU)-based assistant, Vizir offer micro-apps integrating it with packages like such as Microsoft Teams, Slack and Google Chat.
