Environics Analytics Names First Chief Product Officer

Canadian marketing services and data firm Environics Analytics (EA) has hired former NLogic COO David Phillips as its first Chief Product Officer. He will join the company in January.

David PhillipsAcquired by Bell Canada in 2020, EA helps clients with consumer profiling and segmentation, multichannel media planning and execution, trade area analysis, merchandising strategies and site location decision-making. Its ENVISION platform provides access to databases of movement and other data, and its FuturesLab is involved in projects including combining disparate data through secure Clean Room Services, and connecting EA data and workflows to various tools.

Phillips (pictured) joins with two decades of senior exec experience. He most recently spent nearly ten years as President and COO of NLogic (formerly BBM Analytics), which provides audience analysis tools for the TV and radio broadcast industry, media agencies and martech firms. Earlier in his career he worked at BMRB International, before moving to BBM Canada.

In his new role, Phillips will lead the firm's product-focused teams, including Product Management, Data Development, Software Development and Client Services.
