Funds for Survey Participant Recruiter User Interviews

January 1 2023

In the US, survey participant recruitment firm User Interviews has raised $27.5m in a Series B round of funding, which it will use to continue building targeted solutions.

Basel FakhouryUser Interviews recruits people to participate in user research (UX) studies, and its Recruit platform currently offers access to a pool of 2.4 million participants, segmented by any demographic or behavioral criteria. The company's participant scoring system evaluates research feedback and past participation data, and the platform also offers a fraud detection system to monitor multiple key indicators of fraud, removing participants before they apply to take part in a study. Additionally, User Interviews' Research Hub offers panel management and recruitment automation for teams that conduct research at scale.

Funding was led by Sageview Capital, with participation from existing investors Teamworthy, Accomplice, Las Olas VC, Trestle Partners, ValueStream, ERA's Remarkable Ventures, and FJ Labs, and bringing the total raised to date to $45m. Basel Fakhoury (pictured), User Interviews co-founder and CEO, comments: 'We want to empower everyone - whether they are having a customer conversation, running an unmoderated usability study, or conducting an in-depth, formal research interview - to have access to their users in a fast, compliant, cost-efficient way.'
