Innovid Names Global Chief Commercial Officer

In the US, online video ad and analytics tech firm Innovid has appointed David Helmreich as Chief Commercial Officer.

David HelmreichInnovid, which helps clients to stream, personalize and measure connected TV (CTV) advertising, and is accredited by MRC, added linear and digital TV capabilities when it acquired TVSquared in February. In June, the company launched InnovidXP, building on the acquisition, and described as 'the first unified cross-platform solution directly integrated with ad serving data and creative personalization'.

Helmreich (pictured) joins with more than two decades of experience in the marketing and advertising sectors. He was previously Chief Revenue Officer at retail tech firm Stackline, before which he served as Chief Revenue Officer and Group Vice President at Oracle Marketing Cloud. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at analytics company TARGUSInfo (sold to Neustar) and marketing platform LiveIntent.

In his new position, Helmreich will lead Innovid's revenue-related functions including sales, marketing and client support, as well as efforts to align these with related areas such as product development, pricing and revenue management. He will report to CEO and co-founder Zvika Netter, who comments: 'This is a strategic hire as we enter this next phase. David has a strong track record of identifying growth opportunities, scaling businesses, leading innovation, and driving transformation'.
