Forrester Names AsiaPac Leader

Technology specialist Forrester Research has appointed veteran IBM executive Charles Chang to the position of President, Forrester Asia Pacific. Chang was previously founder and MD of US-Asia Pacific technology investment consultants Twin Cypress Group.

Chang has more than 27 years' experience in the technology industry. Chang will report to George F. Colony, Forrester's Chairman of the Board and CEO.

Colony says Chang will play a critical leadership role: 'Forrester is well-positioned to make a significant contribution to the Asia Pacific marketplace... Charles' deep knowledge of technology and his expertise in serving emerging and established Asian companies will enable him to be a strong contributor'.

At IBM, Chang held executive sales, marketing, and general management positions with a focus on sales growth in Asia Pacific. He has also worked as a Senior VP for Business Objects and Informix. He holds an M.A. in management from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
