Funds for Receipt Scanning Rewards Firm Zipzero

London-based Zipzero, which rewards consumers for sharing any shopping receipt via an app, has raised £1m in seed funding, which it will use to further develop its platform and its partnerships with retailers and brands.

The company is led by CEO Mohsin Rashid, and gives cash rewards which can be used to pay off monthly household bills. Zipzero claims more than 100,000 users in the UK, many of them signed up since January 1st, and partners with the likes of Asda, Boots, Ebay and Sainsbury's

The round was led by angel investors including Craig Dewar.
