New Canberra MD for Pollinate and Parent

In Australia, strategic consultancy The Influence Group has appointed Shannon Kenna as Managing Director of the Canberra offices of both its research and brand strategy business Pollinate and the group as a whole.

Shannon KennaThe Influence Group also owns ANZ influencer marketing business Social Soup. Pollinate offers a range of services including brand strategy, ideation and innovation, stakeholder engagement and customer experience consultancy, and last November opened a sustainability unit

Kenna starts in the new role on April 4th, and joins the executive teams of the two companies, bringing skills in marketing, media relations, research and corporate communications from work in the public sector across social policy, public affairs and government administration. She joins from Commonwealth Treasury where she worked for eight years, most recently as Assistant Secretary Communications; and earlier spent time at the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science and the Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations.

Pollinate CEO Howard Parry-Husbands welcomes Kenna's 'in-depth knowledge and experience in the local market' and her 'demonstrated history of leading successful teams'.
