Converseon Taps LLM Expertise for Platform Upgrade

March 31 2023

Consumer intelligence provider Converseon has released a new version of its Conversus no code NLP (natural language processing) platform, integrating large language models (LLMs) and fine-tuned task specific models built with GPT assistance to make sense of unstructured conversation data.

Rob KeyClients use the platform to improve organizational decision making in areas ranging from corporate reputation to innovation and customer experience.

Conversus 5.0 adds features including advanced content classification and analysis of user attitude, including author state of mind; an all-new query language called ConvQL designed to overcome some of the limitations of boolean instructions; a new capability for ongoing validation and tracking of model performance using periodic, contemporaneous samples of the client's own data; and enhanced topic modeling and discovery methods for more robust bottom up analysis. It also features a patent pending consumer memory metric (CMM) scoring algorithm to normalize metrics based on text analytics; and enhanced prebuilt model packages for corporate reputation, customer experience and sustainability.

Converseon says it has been making ever-growing use of LLMs 'since their first emergence several years ago' and can help clients adopt them 'effectively and safely' in consumer, social and market intelligence. The firm also uses AI to power PRISM (Predictive Reputation Intelligence Solution), a suite of products helping clients assess strategies, and predict future outcomes through business simulators that illustrate the potential impact and risk of certain actions upon sales, shareholder value, consumer experience and other business indicators.

CEO Rob Key (pictured) comments: 'Conversus 5.0 represents a great leap forward for NLP analysis of conversation data. Our ability to incorporate new LLMs into our solution set gives users a very practical, accessible way to apply these stunning new technologies within their organization, in combination with other pre-built and custom AI models for automated insights, for maximum impact and minimized risk'.
