Jeff Tsui and Siddhartha DuttaThe firm's new platform will be hosted in China and offers integrations with free messaging and calling app WeChat, as well as Red Packet app, WeChat's cash transfer system which is similar to PayPal. Jeff Tsui (pictured above), who is MD of Kantar Profiles for Greater China, says the platform offers a 'resilient service' that meets new regulations to help brands collect compliant data.

To increase its reach in India, the company is launching a new dedicated Hindi panel - the most spoken language in the country after English. The firm is also implementing a two-part digital-first approach, which will involve all Indian projects now being online, with surveys designed for mobiles, using global standards. Kantar says both changes will broaden respondent access, ensuring a balanced demographic coverage across social class and geography, while delivering four times the current panel capacity over the next two years to reach 40 million Indians.

Siddhartha Dutta (pictured below), MD of Kantar Profiles Asia, adds: 'India is on a journey towards becoming the second biggest market in the world. It's never been more important to infuse technology to expand our local capabilities and ensure high-quality data to become an indispensable brand partner for our clients worldwide'.
