EFAMRO Adds Corporate Membership Option

EFAMRO, the European federation of MR trade associations, has added a membership package for companies in countries with no official organisation representing the market and social research sector.

The new Corporate Membership package, already taken up by Sweden's Norstat Group and Sweden / Baltic States-based RAIT Group, will operate alongside the existing Association Membership which serves national trade associations such as the UK's MRS and Germany's ADM.

The federation, which celebrated its thirtieth birthday last year, provides guidance on ethical and legal issues; lobbies for businesses at EU institutions and leads on consultation responses on the sector's behalf.

Federation President Bernd Wachter (pictured) comments: 'In these challenging times, with costs high and war in Europe, ensuring we have close international ties is vital. Promoting cross border links in research is one of the key reasons that we have created our new Corporate Membership, alongside our desire to support businesses in countries that do not have a national research association. I'm confident we can provide real value through this new offer to businesses such as Norstat Group and RAIT Group, who I welcome as our first Corporate Members'.
