Seed Funds for Unstructured Data Analyst Beehive AI

June 2 2023

In the US, unstructured customer data analysis platform Beehive AI has emerged from stealth mode with a $5.1m seed round of funding, which it will use to 'support rapid growth'.

Shai DeljoBeehive AI is a customizable enterprise AI platform for consumer research. By analyzing qualitative unstructured, open-ended data using contextual language models trained on enterprise specific data, the company says it enables enterprises to better understand what drives individual consumer behavior. The firm's platform operates across languages, countries, and cultures, and to date, it has trained more than 10,000 specialized AI models in over 30 languages and processed data from more than 20 countries.

Through the platform, clients can upload their own existing data collected on any platform (eg. Qualtrics, Medallia, Survey Monkey, and others), or launch AI-designed questionnaires that ask open-ended questions designed to elicit nuanced feedback from customers. It then performs tailored analysis of the data, and allows clients to use intuitive programmable dashboards to explore insights.

Beehive AI's oversubscribed round of funding was led by Valley Capital Partners, with participation from unnamed 'later stage strategic partners'. Shai Deljo (pictured), CEO of Beehive AI, comments: 'Recently, large language models like GPT-4 have made tremendous progress. Beehive AI takes this progress to the next level by tuning generalized AI to specialized domain models trained for unique sets of data and outcomes. The quality and specificity of these custom models are unparalleled, allowing enterprises to extract rich, relevant insights from even the most complex unstructured data.'
