Cytel Buys Healthcare Products Specialist

US-based quant insights and health data analysis firm Cytel has paid an undisclosed sum for French consulting and research firm stève consultants, which specialises in market access, real-world evidence (RWE), and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).

stève consultants has offices in Paris and Lyon and helps biotech and pharma clients in the French market with the development and the implementation of their regional market access strategy. This includes the implementation of early access programs, the demonstration of health-economic value, the generation of real-life data and the writing of HTA dossiers.

Cytel says the acquisition extends its own real-world and advanced analytics (RWAA) capabilities, with an expanded global offering and access to additional specialists and local expertise. Stève Bénard, Executive Manager, stève consultants, says the deal will further expand the insight and support his firm can offer for market access and market maintenance in France.

This latest takeover follows Cytel's recent acquisition of Nordic regulatory affairs and RWE expert, SDS Life Science.
