Measure Protocol Launches New Platform

July 18 2023

In London, Measure Protocol has announced the launch of a new consumer behavioral data platform, which integrates fully permissioned behavioral, demographic and psychographic data from multiple sources.

Owen HanksMeasure was founded in 2018 by four former YuMe and Crowd Science execs, and provides insight into how consumers use, interact, navigate and transact with business web sites, services and apps, while giving individuals greater control over how their data is used, and compensation for the information. On Friday the firm appointed Christie Hartbarger as its first Chief Revenue Officer, based in Chicago.

The new platform gathers data on iOS and Android app usage, in-app and Amazon purchases, TikTok and Google search, YouTube and mobile web browsing. From this it compiles a picture of consumer digital behaviour based around five facets: app usage, web browsing, purchase transitions, media consumption and social media activity. Data for account level services is collected across devices and the service offers hyper-segmentation based on specific behavior such as hours on various platforms, YouTube channels, or purchase levels.

CEO and co-founder Owen Hanks says the firm has developed technology that directly addresses challenges in the realm of consumer-centric behavioural data, 'taking the pulse of the digital consumer'. He adds: 'Our clients rely on this data heavily for important decisions, and they have been asking for new ways to access it. Our new Measure Platform answers this call, putting valuable data at their fingertips in a way that wasn't previously possible'.
