Funds for 'Generative Analytics' Firm Akkio

August 1 2023

In the US, 'generative analytics' and machine learning (ML) provider Akkio has raised $15m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to commercialize its AI platform.

Abe ParangiAkkio's customers 'chat' with their data, generate live dashboards, and use machine learning to predict future outcomes across their operations - including lead scoring, forecasting and content optimization. AI technology GPT-4 is used to generate insights, visualizations and dashboards from clients' spreadsheet tools, live business data sources and data warehouses. Analysts then build predictive models for a range of business purposes and deploy them for real-time decision-making in minutes - all without writing any code.

New funding has been led by Bain Capital Ventures and Pandome. Akkio co-founder and CEO Abe Parangi (pictured) comments: 'Akkio's customers rely on data and want to leverage the latest in generative AI and ML capabilities, but lack the tools, technical expertise or data science experience to do it. This investment allows us to scale and advance our platform so business analysts can leverage AI technologies to work faster, unlock new insights, and make a bigger impact for their organization'.
