Profitero Debuts Commerce Analytics-based AI Assistant

Publicis Groupe's eCommerce analytics platform Profitero has launched a chat-based AI assistant called 'Ask Profitero', which uses generative AI and commerce analytics to enable brands to optimize the digital shelf at scale.

Acquired last year, Profitero has developed eCommerce and omnichannel analytics to enable brands to 'anticipate, activate and automate' the next best action for each item in their product catalogue. The firm's new Ask Profitero enables omnichannel commerce teams to query Profitero's commerce intelligence offering, including digital shelf analytics for 1,000 global retailers, Amazon market share data, and predictive content optimization insights.

Ask Profitero performs two primary capabilities - quickly curating insights from digital shelf and market share data as well as producing AI generated content for retailer web sites from Profitero's predictive analytics suite. For example, a sales manager can use the solution to understand all products losing market share and identify the root causes, such as issues with product availability, search or negative reviews, while at the same time isolating the factors causing competitors to gain share. A marketer can use Ask Profitero to identify top searched-for keywords in their category and, in minutes, generate optimized titles to boost organic search rank and conversion; and innovation teams can use it to analyze consumer reviews and uncover new product ideas.
