Tricentis Adds App Analysis Solution

US-based continuous testing specialist Tricentis has added a solution called Tricentis Device Cloud (TDC) to its portfolio of mobile testing products, allowing companies to produce, manage and analyze apps on mobile devices, at all stages of the development lifecycle.

The firm's AI-based portfolio of continuous testing products provides an automated and fully codeless approach through which enterprises can increase software release speed, reduce costs and improve software quality. Last month it acquired no-code mobile test automation platform Waldo, which is used to create and run automated, end-to-end mobile tests directly in the browser, with no need for technical knowledge.

The new TDC, combined with the firm's existing Testim Mobile and Tosca Mobile solutions, tracks KPIs and network or connectivity issues that may impact on user experience and performance. It can be used for single-tenant and multi-tenant deployment, as well as GPS and IP-geolocation testing, enabling users to evaluate user experience across global locations to identify performance, network, and security-related issues.

Focusing on front-end, single user performance testing, the solution identifies performance issues such as load time, CPU, memory and battery consumption. The service can be used to test all devices, including Smartphones, iPhones, tablets from Apple, Google, and Samsung; all iOS and Android versions; as well as web, hybrid and native apps.
