Contentsquare to Buy Product Analyst Heap

October 5 2023

In the US, digital experience analyst Contentsquare is to acquire product analytics specialist Heap, for an undisclosed sum.

Ken Fine and Jonathan CherkiHeap's low-code digital analytics software highlights key digital behavior and pinpoints quant and qual insights to help teams create the best possible digital experiences. In September, the company expanded its analysis tools to help enterprises understand user actions across all platforms at speed; and at the end of last year it released a tool called Journeys, which visually maps the paths users take when using a digital product.

This will be Contentsquare's largest acquisition to date, and will allow the company to deliver an all-in-one analytics platform with a 360-degree view of experience. The firms say the deal will further underscore Contentsquare's commitment to innovation and client success, bolstered by an R&D team of more than 700 people. Heap CEO Ken Fine says the integration will help clients understand and improve the complete customer journey, deliver the best experiences and improve NPS and customer lifetime value.

Jonathan Cherki, CEO and founder of Contentsquare, adds: 'The acquisition of Heap marks a critical milestone in our journey to maximize value for customers through breaking down data silos, fostering collaboration and giving all teams a 360 view of their customers' experience. Together we are uniquely positioned to transform the experience analytics industry and give everyone the experience they love, seek and deserve'.
