Marcoms Veteran to Chair VidMob

AI-based creative performance platform VidMob has appointed former OMD and Aegis Media CEO Mainardo de Nardis as Executive Chairman, supporting its growth strategy and strategic agency relationships.

VidMob's 'Intelligent Creative' platform integrates analytics with the production of creative, to help brands produce, measure and optimize the performance of their creative ad assets across all major digital advertising platforms. Just over a year ago it raised $110m in a Series D round of funding.

de Nardis (pictured) is an investor, Board Member and advisor to a number of private companies, and has already served on the Board of Directors for VidMob for three years - he will be 'an active and hands-on member of the leadership team' according to the firm. Earlier in his career he was an ad agency executive in London and New York, in roles including Executive Vice Chairman of Omnicom Media Group, CEO of OMD Worldwide and CEO Worldwide of Aegis Media and MEC Global.
