IA Appoints Research-on-Research Director

In the US, industry body the Insights Association (IA) has hired Shannon Danzy for the new role of Senior Director, Research Strategy, with a remit to provide its membership and the insights and analytics profession with data needed to improve the quality of their research practices.

Shannon DanzyDanzy (pictured) joins with more than two decades of experience, which includes holding senior positions at marketing agencies and nonprofits - RALLY, MediaCom, the US Fund for UNICEF, and the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. She also ran her own independent consultancy, working with brands, ad agencies and research companies across the social media, pharma, packaged goods and retail sectors.

In addition, she has advocated for increased inclusivity within the industry and more inclusive research methods - as the founder of QRCA's Inclusive Culture Committee and Young Professionals Committee, a founding member of the Insights Association's IDEA Council, and through speaking engagements. She has also been a member of AAPOR (American Association for Public Opinion Research), EPIC, APG and QRCA.
