Australia's Audience Group Adds Three to Team

November 22 2023

In Brisbane, data-driven media and ad services agency Audience Group has added three new members to its team.

Simon Watson and Esha SawhneyAudience Group helps clients 'find their audiences' by targeting those with a higher propensity to buy their product. Its approach uses observed, behavioural data fused with psychographics and buying intent data, to understand audiences; and by matching this to current audience profiling, the Audience Group builds the client's addressable audience.

Simon Watson has been named Associate Director, which a background in both client- and agency-side roles at firms including UM Australia, Ladbrokes & Neds, Lion, Starcom and The Media Store. Esha Sawhney, who joins as Senior Account Director, previously held account and trading roles at Starcom Zenith and Ikon, and was most recently Account Director at OMD Australia. Hannah Davis has been named Digital Trading Specialist, after marketing positions at DIY and woodworking supplier Carbatec, then positions at NextDC, Hello Digital and Alpha Digital.

Audience Group's Data and Strategy Planner Tori Chandler comments: 'The majority of applicants for a role like this still tend to be male, and that was the case when we were interviewing for this position. So it was cool that, not only were there women amongst the candidate pool but Hannah's analytics skills stood out from the pack. Critically, she demonstrated the best understanding of how we integrate data into our trading decisions'.
