December 8 2023

New York-based CPG industry customer insight platform Yogi has announced a $10m Series A round of funding, with which to accelerate growth including product development and the expansion of client support.

Funds for Consumer Goods Insight Platform YogiYogi aims to help consumer brands find detailed, product-level insights into consumer behavior and sentiment, in order to develop, enhance and market their wares. This includes aggregating and analyzing product review data using AI to pick up 'previously inaccessible', nuanced themes from a wide range of sources. The round was led by Blueprint Equity, with participation from existing investors ScOp Venture Capital, RTP Global, Data Point Capital, Remarkable Ventures and Jaffray Woodriff.

Blueprint Managing Partner Sheldon Lewis, who will join Yogi's Board of Directors, comments 'Within the highly competitive consumer products industry, brands are seeking real-time customer insights - not only for their products, but also those of their competitors. We believe Yogi is uniquely positioned to deliver cross-functional analytics and deep insights across consumer product categories'.

Yogi's co-founder and CEO Gautam Kanumuru says the company was immediately drawn to Blueprint's collaborative approach: 'It's rare to find a partner so aligned with your vision and with the operational resources to augment your execution efforts. We're excited to welcome Sheldon to our Board and work closely with Blueprint's operations team as we enter the next phase of our growth'.
