SourseAI Gets Funds, Looks to Europe for Expansion

Sydney, Australia-based decision intelligence platform SourseAI has raised $AUD 3m in funding, earmarked for development of its AI platform for telcos, and recruitment for its UK team and Australia-based R&D team.

The round was led by Centerstone Capital, which also invests in ethical social media firm WeAre8 and software development and data modernisation specialist Clear Dynamics.

SourseAI is led by CEO Tanya Hyams-Young (pictured), and provides a no-code solution allowing telecoms companies to analyse large amounts of data - including customer intent data - modelling the results of business decisions and outputting forecasts and other actionable insights. Australian media company Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) was an early investor in July 2021.

The UK office was opened just over a year ago, and the company says it will focus on Europe as the starting point of a global expansion drive. It has already appointed Paul Jefferies as Chief Revenue Officer and Dr Bryan Eastwood as Chief Customer Officer.
