McDonald's Promotes Insights Leader to C-Suite

At fast food chain McDonald's, former VP Global Insights and Analytics Michelle Gansle has been promoted to Chief Data and Analytics Officer.

Michelle GansleGansle (pictured) is based in Chicago and is a Board Director of US trade body the Insights Association. She has thirty years' experience in marketing, insights and analytics, and has worked for two and a half at the burger giant. Before this she was Senior Director, Foresight, Innovation & Growth Insights at Mars Wrigley, having spent a dozen years in insight roles at the confectionery group, including Director, Shopper Insights & Analytics for Wrigley; and Innovation and Category Insights Manager at Mars Food Europe.

Earlier in her career she worked as VP Client management at Affinnova, client side as Marketing Intelligence Manager at Clorox and Business Development Executive at Texas-based A-Med Home Health, and as VP Marketing at the student-run leadership organisation AIESEC.
