New Marketplace Offers Prosper Data in Smaller Chunks

In Worthington, Ohio, consumer data and insights provider Prosper Insights & Analytics has announced a partnership with business data monetization platform DataPostie, which will make smaller bundles of Prosper's data available on demand via a Consumer Insights Marketplace.

Kabalan GaspardProsper's US Signals series of datasets includes leading indicators and predictive analytics derived from its monthly surveys and measurement of more than 7,500 US consumers - this covers spending plans, shopping behavior, motivations and economic outlook. The data has been collected each month for more than twenty years and used throughout that time to trend and track spending by the National Retail Federation (NRF) - Prosper points out that it therefore provides 'an excellent training dataset for AI & Machine Learning initiatives and Forecasting applications'.

DataPostie's solution integrates directly with an organisation's data infrastructure to create monetizable data products, and providing security, anonymisation, distribution and delivery.

The Marketplace will include data on consumer confidence; major purchase signals; consumer travel and vehicle purchase predictors; 90-day spending plans for hardlines, softlines, and staples categories; and other major purchase signals including computers, furniture, home appliances and homes.
