PSB Hires Advanced Analytics Leader

In Washington, DC, WPP-owned research and analytics consultancy PSB Insights has appointed former Phoenix Marketing International VP Dr. Qi Jiang as Vice President of Advanced Analytics.

Dr Qi JiangOriginally Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates, PSB (now known as PSB Insights) was acquired by WPP in 2001 and provides research-based consultancy to help corporate, entertainment and political clients hone their messaging and communications strategies. Last February it acquired long-time partner company Stratesci, whose techniques included discrete choice modeling, life-time value assessment, Bayesian networks, logistics regression and perceptual mapping, as well as a proprietary Duo MaxDiff multi-dimensional approach. Stratesci founder Rob Kaiser became the buyer company's EVP Advanced Analytics.

Jiang held the same title at MarketCast for eighteen months, and earlier spent fifteen years as VP Marketing Sciences at Phoenix MI and seven years Pathfinder Innovation. She brings skills in advanced analytics, research and client relationship management, including the provision of advanced statistical solutions for business intelligence across a broad range of sectors, from telecoms and media to automotive, pharma and financial services. Her experience includes the building of proprietary models and algorithms for companies to productize their portfolio of solutions.
