Event Ticketing, Data and Insights Firm Fixr Hires CRO

FIXR, which provides audience insights and actionable data for event organisers worldwide, has appointed former Eventbrite VP Joel Crouch as Chief Revenue Officer.

Joel CrouchThe hire comes as FIXR, which provides digital ticketing and marketing technology in addition to data and analytics, has opened offices in Dubai, UAE and Cape Town, South Africa. The firm was launched in the UK in 2015 and its clients include major entertainment, nightlife, festival, attraction and youth brands.

Crouch joined Eventbrite in 2015 and ran its UK and Ireland operation, then moved to head up all go-to-market teams across Europe, and later the global sales organisation. The firm completed an IPO in December 2018. Earlier he spent more than fifteen years in the technology sector in companies including EMC (now part of Dell Technologies) and Google, before moving to the events industry and Lanyon (now Cvent) where he ran international sales teams.

In his new role Crouch will be responsible for FIXR's revenue strategy, identifying new business opportunities and developing key partnerships to develop the company's presence in new and existing markets.
