Former Google and YouTube Exec Joins RealityMine Board

Consumer insight and behavioural data technology company RealityMine has appointed former Google and YouTube advertising leader Phil Miles as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.

Phil MilesRealityMine uses privacy-safe and GDPR-compliant RealityMeter technology deployed on Android, iOS and desktop devices to help clients including technology companies, media measurement and insight providers to understand real life consumer behaviour in the digital world.

Miles led YouTube's advertising business in the UK with overall responsibility for revenue, sales teams and go to market strategy, meanwhile working on the development of advertising measurement standards with industry bodies including ISBA, the IPA, BARB and Origin, and vendors such as Kantar and Nielsen. Before this, as a member of Google UK's Commercial board, he led the tech giant's programmatic advertising platform through a hypergrowth phase with overall responsibility for customer acquisition, revenue targets and go-to market strategy. He spent nearly twenty years combined in these two roles.
