Richards Returns for New TNS Programme

Trevor Richards' new UK role for TNS will be as Joint Global Leader of Brand and Advertising Research. Richards, who has over twenty years of MR experience, returns from Sydney where he was Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand.

The other Joint Leader for Brand and Advertising will be US-based Larry Friedman. The appointment is part of the launch of TNS' Areas of Expertise global leadership programme, which also sees Joachim Scharioth leading the Stakeholder Management team and Paer Kaelleskog & Andrea Wilson leading the Motivational Research team. A leader for the fourth 'Area of Expertise', New Product Development, should be announced soon.

TNS Worldwide MD Amaury de Conde says that organising the firm's core custom business around these key Areas of Expertise will improve the spread of expertise, and will be supported by TNS's portfolio of Business Solutions and 'an aggressive research and development plan'.
