Funds for German KM Platform Genow

August 26 2025

Darmstadt, Germany-based company Genow has raised EUR 1.65m in Seed funding to expand its sales in Europe and beyond; and to enhance its software, which helps clients interact with their existing knowledge base in various formats and locations.

Sara JourdanGenow's AI-powered 'knowledge operations platform' is called 'Wingman', and aims to consolidate disparate information sources into a single access point, extracting data and enriching it with company-specific context and details. User firms can configure specialized implementations across different departments, including human resources, sales, compliance, and customer service functions. The company was founded in 2023 by Dr. Timo Koppe (now CTO), Adrian Glauben (Product Lead), Dr. Sara Jourdan (CEO) and Prof. Peter Buxmann (Advisor).

The round was led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) alongside BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH, plus angel investors and founders Markus Becker, Sebastian Mönnich and Dr Mario Lenz.

Funds will be used to help the platform handle more complex workflow scenarios, and to launch an Agent Suite. 'Knowledge management remains one of the biggest hurdles to successful processes and decisions' says Jourdan (pictured). 'In practice, [Genow's platform] means knowledge from different sources can be connected and understood in context, creating a unified knowledge layer across the organization.'
