NIQ Hires for UK&I Managing Director Role

Global consumer intelligence firm NIQ has appointed Julian Crane as its new Managing Director, UK & Ireland, replacing Rachel White who has been promoted to APAC Regional President.

Crane (pictured) worked for only two previous companies in around thirty years of FMCG and beauty industry experience. He spent nine years as Business Unit Director - Grocery at First Drinks Brands, a joint venture between William Grants & Bacardi, before leaving in 2006 to join consumer products company Henkel. He spent more than a decade as Sales Director for Henkel Beauty Care Retail, and for the last six and a half years served as General Manager UK & Ireland at Henkel Consumer Brands Hair Professional, based in Hemel Hempstead, UK.
