Lyra Strengthens European Team

Digital imaging specialist Lyra Research has appointed Peter Mayhew as Senior European Analyst. He joins from the UK's Ilford Imaging, where he was worldwide head of commercial marketing for digital. The agency has also announced two other recent appointments.

Mayhew's new role includes market analysis, forecasting, and primary research in consumer, office, and commercial environments. He has more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience in the photographic and digital imaging segments of the graphic arts industry. He worked initially for Ilford in the US as Marketing Director and has also established a photographic laboratory, an industrial photographic studio, and an exhibition display business.

Gábor Nagy, a fellow of the Hungarian-American Enterprise Scholarship Fund (HAESF), joins Lyra as a Research Analyst for its Wide-Format Production Printing Advisory Service (WFS), where he will work on forecasting wide-format printer, ink, and media shipments; and analyse solvent printer and UV-curable flatbed markets. Previously he worked in research for IDC Hungary and as a financial advisor for Credit Suisse Life and Pensions.

Cortney Kasuba is appointed Research Analyst for Lyra's Hard Copy Supplies Advisory Service (SAS). A graduate of the University of Westminster in London, Kasuba will be responsible for forecasting in toner cartridge markets.
