Statistician Boosts InsightExpress Research

US online MR agency InsightExpress has appointed John Pemberton as its Director of Research, Development and Consulting. Pemberton, who was previously Market Research Manager of Marketing Sciences at Market Vision Research, has more than 10 years' experience in advanced research and statistical methods.

Previously, he spent six years at TNS/NFO, most recently as Research Manager of Statistical Services, and has also worked for The Farnsworth Group and Walker Information. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis, where he has taught business-oriented statistics courses over the past 15 years.

In his new role, Pemberton will be responsible for developing web-based research solutions, as well as enhancing current products and providing statistical support. Fern Schapiro, Executive VP of Client Service and Marketing, explained: 'John will be an integral member of the team as we grow the company and bring the power, speed, and benefits of online research to the marketplace. I have worked closely with John while we were both at TNS/NFO, and I am very familiar with the great insight he can provide our clients.'
