US agency RDI Marketing Services is combining its MR business with Larry Mock's strategic consultancy Marketing On Consumer Knowledge to create a new company, StrataMark Research. Mock, a former VP of Worldwide Market Research at Procter & Gamble, recently joined RDI in order to manage the launch.
Mock will be President of Strategic Development at StrataMark while George Trebbi, Founder and President of RDI Marketing Services and Professor of Marketing Strategy at Xavier University, will be President of StrataMark Research. RDI Marketing Services will continue to run its Teleservices and Customer Care businesses separately.
Mock explained that the new company will focus on brands. He said: 'Our approach to research is built on the philosophy of deeply understanding the nature and character of brand-consumer relationships.'
According to Trebbi: 'Some things that will not change with the combined business and the move to StrataMark Research are the dedication we have always had to customer service and having our most senior staff always accessible to our clients'.
