GQR Opens West Coast Office, Appoints Director

July 27 2005
US public opinion research and political consulting firm Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research has appointed Ben Tulchin as Associate VP. He will also serve as Director of the company's new West Coast office in San Francisco.

Tulchin joins from Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Associates where he was Senior VP. His experience includes conducting polls for presidential candidate Howard Dean, and helping to elect members of the House of Representatives and the California State Senate and Legislature. He is one of the few Democratic consultants to have elected Democrats to office in Texas in recent years.

In addition to political work, Tulchin has provided public opinion research and message development to corporations including General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, and Pacific Gas and Electric. He has also crafted public education campaigns for non-profit foundations, including the California Endowment, the California Wellness Foundation, the League of Conservation Voters, and the Wilderness Society. Tulchin has won two Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) for his insight and campaign successes.

Al Quinlan, the firm's President, said: 'Ben is an excellent addition to our senior staff, and opening our new office allows us to work more closely with our growing number of West Coast clients'. The company is online at www.greenbergresearch.com .
