E-Tabs Launches Entry-Level Reporting Software

August 5 2005

E-Tabs, a provider of MR reporting solutions, has introduced Enterprise Lite - a scaled-down version of its Enterprise automated reporting software. The company has also added new capabilities to both versions of the software, making it more suitable for use with ad hoc projects.

Enterprise, which recently won an MRS/ASC Award for Technology Effectiveness, automates the creation of charts and presentations in PowerPoint, Word and Excel from standard MR data tables, and is used by research companies worldwide. The company has introduced the new package in response to demand from small-to-medium clients, which are keen on automation but do not need the full range of Enterprise's capabilities. Richard Teller, Development Director at E-Tabs, says the Lite version 'puts powerful report automation within everyone's reach'.

One new function included in both the Lite and standard versions is the ability to auto-generate a presentation based on a library of preferred slide templates. Teller states that, until now, most clients used Enterprise for repetitive projects such as continuous tracking studies, but says that the new capability makes the software ideal for ad hoc projects, too. He believes the automation can 'save researchers many hundreds of hours, and enable them to focus on finding insights rather than typing numbers and worrying about formatting'.

The company, which has offices in London, New York and Chicago, is online at www.e-tabs.com .
