Qualified Opinions and i-Link Launch Panel

Australian online agency i-Link Research Solutions will for the first time offer an online participant research panel for MR and social research, via an alliance with Qualified Opinions Research Panel.

The panel will be used exclusively for market and social research purposes, ensuring that members are not biased by receiving direct marketing campaigns from the same source. The companies are working to develop the panel's membership base, which is said to be growing at around 10,000 new respondents each month.

Members of the panel provide more than 100 pieces of demographic data and behaviour information when they register, enabling respondents to be narrowly targeted. Samples can also be representatively matched to ABS data within areas as small as electoral division.

The two companies have also developed a proprietary database management system, which offers a reward and motivational system that provides members with 'highly valued opportunities' when they participate in a research study. Reward costs will vary from project to project, depending on the time it takes for respondents to complete a project, the response rate required, the length of time a project is active, and the selection requirements.
